Congratulations Congratulations to the Mercy students who won Best Documentary at DCU's UniTY awards on 13th May for 'The Importance of Sport'. You can views all the entries here. We had two entries in the documentary catagory and five in the smartphone catagory. Green Committee news here YSI news hereupdated 14 April 2015 Webwise Students Robyn Richardson, Liana Harte and Lisa Gilligan from Mercy College Coolock attend the Webwise Internet Safety Launch 2015 at Dublin Castle and showcase their Internet Safety Project completed as part of YSI Young Social Innovators as transitions year students last year. These transition years students won the Webwise National Competition '#It'sup2us with their positive approach to combating against Cyberbullying. At the Launch, the girls were interviewed by RTE, TV3, UTV and Webwise. They also met with Damien English TD - Minister of State at the Departments of Education and Skills and Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation with Special Responsibility for Skills, Research and Innovation. Their efforts have also been recognised locally in the newspaper 'The Northside People'. Click HERE for photographs.
